Ruth Brown, known as the Woman Who Built Atlantic Records, was truly a force of nature. However, I am surprised that the biggest selling single, second only to "Mama He Treats Your Daughter Mean" was "I Burned Your Letter", is rarely listed in her body of work. The song was a Juke Box smash. I was 8 years old when this song came out. My sisters played this song until the grooves was smooth. Yet there are no lyrics for this kicky tune. What a Shame!!!!
